Sarangkot Dhampus Trek is one of the best short treks in Pokhara that takes you through Sarangkot, Dhampus, and Naudanda which are the 3most popular viewpoints in Pokhara. We can find Damai settlement in Sarangkot while we will observe Gurung culture and ways of living in the Dhampus. We will enjoy the memorable sunrise view from Sarankot while we will get close up view of Machhapuchhre Mountain and Pokhara Valley including Phewa Lake from the top of Naudanda hill. We will recommend you to try Sarangkot Dhampus Trekking if you are looking for a hike around Annapurna.  Sarangkot Dhampus hike passes through beautiful countryside inhabited by highly diversified communities of people, the region is heavily settled by the mid-hills tribe "Gurungs." Gurungs are the famous Gurkha soldiers in the British, Indian and Nepalese Army.  You then hike another viewpoint of the Dhampus in next day, the Dhampus is another view to see the spectacular sunset and sunrise view over the Himalayas. You then trek to Phedi and take a drive back to Pokhara and Kathmandu.

Day 1: Arrived at Kathmandu valley
Upon arrival in Kathmandu, Tribhuwan International Airport, we will receive you with a private vehicle and transfer to the hotel in Kathmandu within B/B plan. Our representative will give you information about further programs.

Day 2: Drive to Pokhara city (6 hours). Transfer to Fewa lakeside at the hotel.
Early morning but after breakfast, Our professional guide comes to pick you up to get Tourist Bus park, Kantipath. Bus leave from Kathmandu to Pokhara at about 6:45 am. You follow Prithvi Highway for roughly about 6 hours to get a tourist paradise Pokhara city. During your journey, you can view the Manokamana cable car at Kurintar and rafting on the Trishuli River, and some nice and beautiful villages. Pokhara is the second largest tourist town of Nepal offers an excellent view of Annapurna Himalayan ranges.

Day 3: Trek to Sarangkot hill station (1,600m / 5,235 ft), 4 hours
We begin our journey walking on the bank of Fewa lakeside to get Khapaudi which is a foothill of Sarangkot tower. Sarangkot hill offers evening sunset view and evening lights, pristine Fewa lake and as well as sunrise over the Annapurna Himalayan ranges including Mount Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Fishtail. Breathtaking sunset and sunrise over the Annapurna massive.

Day 4: Trek to Australian Camp (2,100m / 6,867 ft), 6 hours
Today very early in the morning, hike Hilltop tower to enjoy the sunrise view over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m.), Tukuche Peak (6,920m.), Nilgiri (6,940m.), Varaha Shikhar (7,847m.), Mt. Annapurna I (8,091m.), Annapurna South (7,219m.), Annapurna III (7,855m.), Machhapuchhare (6,993m.), Annapurna IV (7,525m.), Annapurna II (7,937m.), Lamjung Himal (6,931m.) and Manaslu (8,163 m) other numerous snowcapped mountains in the morning. 

Returning back to the hotel, we will take breakfast before continuing our journey to Naudanda. Naudanda is nine hills which offer great views of Pokhara Valley and Phewa Lake. We will lower down from Naudanda to Ghatte Khola and choose the escalating path to Australian camp passing over the pretty little village of Gurung ethnics situated at the top of Dhampus hill.

Day 5: Trek descend to Phedi. Drive to Pokhara, 4 hours
After breakfast with great sunrise over mount Annapurna and fist tail, we walk downhill to get Dhampus village. Mount Fishtail is called Machhapuchhre in Nepali. We will explore Dhampus village and get to know their unique culture and ways of living. The trail descends through the forest to Dhampus Phedi from where our private vehicle is waiting for us. And from here to Pokhara few lakeside transfers by private taxi/car/van and it takes roughly about 1 hour. Get refreshed and relax.

Day 6: Drive to Kathmandu city
In the morning we’ll drive back through the scenic countryside and during the route, we will stop for breakfast & lunch. It takes 7 hours back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu, the guide will transfer to the hotel and rest of the day relax or explore the surrounding areas and overnight at the hotel.

Day 7: Final departure day
Drop you in Kathmandu International Airport onward your final destination and our trip ends. wish you your wonderful journey.
