Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Upon your arrival at Delhi International airport, you will be met by our office airport representative. After a warm welcome at the airport, you will be driven to your pre-booked hotel and our representative will assist you in check-in formalities. Get some rest or explore the city by walk. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Full day sightseeing in Delhi
Today morning after breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to start your excursion with Qutub Minar, it’s named after Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the first Sultan of the Mamluk Dynasty, This is the victory tower of Mughal, which indicated the beginning of Muslim rule in India. Humayun's tomb is the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Humayun in Delhi, India. The tomb was commissioned by Humayun's first wife and chief consort, Empress Bega Begum, in 1569-70, and designed by Mirak Mirza Ghiyas and his son, Sayyid Muhammad, Persian architects chosen by her.
Then drive to visit India Gate, it was built to commemorate the death of India soldiers, who were killed in the North West Province during the First World War and the Afghan Conquest of 1919. Later visit President House, The official residence of the President of India. Drive pass Parliament Street and move to Connaught Place for Lunch. From here you will head to Jama Masjid, it was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656, Jama Masjid is one of the biggest Mosques in India. Drive pass Red Fort and move the head towards Laxmi Narayan Temple located in the heart of Delhi, also known as the Birla Mandir, this beautifully decorated Hindu temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his consort Lakshmi. Then drive to Lotus Temple, a lotus-shaped outline has etched itself on the consciousness of the city's inhabitants, capturing their imagination, fueling their curiosity, and revolutionizing the concept of worship. Evening drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 3: Drive Delhi – Agra (204kms/ 4hrs Approx)
Today morning after an early breakfast you will start for Agra by road. Upon arrival check-in hotel and freshen-up. Afternoon visit Taj Mahal was built by Shah Jahan in 1631 AD and was completed in 1651. This symbol of love was built in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love. Later on, drive to Agra Fort, was built by the famed Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone. Construction of the massive red sandstone Agra Fort on the bank of the Yamuna River was begun by Emperor Akbar in 1565, though additions were made up until the rule of his grandson, Shah Jahan region it has partially become Palace.
Later move the head to Itmad-ud-daulah's Tomb, was built between 1622 and 1628 by Empress Nur Jahan for her father, boasts of marble trelliswork and inlaid with precious stones, this mausoleum on the opposite bank of the Yamuna from the Taj, exhibits a strong Persian influence. Evening drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 4: Drive Agra – Fatehpur Sikri – Abhaneri – Jaipur (245kms / 5hrs Approx)
Breakfast at the hotel, embark on your drive to Jaipur. On the way, halt at Fatehpur Sikri, built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 yrs due to scarcity of water. Predominately, a red sandstone construction sprawling over a huge area, the architectural style is very much in tune with the emperor’s dream & partakes of both Hindu & Muslim styles. See the graceful buildings including Jama Masjid, Jodha Bai Palace, Birbal Bhawan, Panch Mahal, and the Buland Darwaza. Each site endures the great creativity and historical significance of the Mughal Dynasty.
En-route, also visit Abhaneri; this ancient village in Rajasthan is renowned for its post-Gupta or early medieval monuments, Chand Baori and Harshat Mata temple. Though the village is in ruins now, tourists throng the village to see Chand Baori which is a huge stepwell, a unique idea conceived by the natives to work as a water reservoir. Another attraction is the Harshat Mata temple, an architectural jewel on the tourism map of Rajasthan. While Harshat Mata temple symbolizes the 10th-century architecture, Chand Baori, which is fortified on all sides, is one of the largest step wells in India. Continue to drive to Jaipur, on arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Full day sightseeing in Jaipur
Breakfast at the hotel, enjoy an elephant ride (upto the hills) to the Amber Fort. Raja Man Singh the Rajput commander of Akbar’s army constructed the fortress-palace at the end of the 16th century. Amber is a superb example of Rajput architecture, situated on a hilltop, overlooking a lake. Casting its surreal reflection in the Maota Lake, the Amer Fort is an architectural wonder. The fort is also counted as the most excellent example of Indo-Islamic architecture.
Then move ahead to the City Palace, with amazing cultural value and architectural excellence. It is adorned with a number of gardens, edifices, and courtyards within the complex of the palace which makes it worth visiting. The next stopover will be at the Jantar Mantar, also known as the Royal Observatory, Jantar Mantar has a collection of astronomical instruments that are meticulously designed to measure the harmony of the heavens.
Later on, visit Hawa Mahal It was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh to enable ladies of the royal household to watch the life and processions of the city. The top offers stunning views over Jantar Mantar and the City Palace in one direction and over Sireh Deori Bazaar in the other. In the evening, explore Bapu Bazar, a famous market in Jaipur and other local markets to enjoy shopping. Later, drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 6: Drive Jaipur – Pushkar – Udaipur (405kms / 8hrs approx)
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Udaipur en-route visit Pushkar Brahma Temple: This is the only temple in the world where Lord Brahma is worshiped and the main attraction of Pushkar. And then visit Pushkar Lake: According to the legends, the lake was dedicated to Lord Brahma after a lotus fell from his hands and dropped into this picturesque valley. Continue to drive to Udaipur, check-in at the hotel.
Day 7: Full day sightseeing in Udaipur
Breakfast at the hotel. Full day city tour visits the City Palace, built-in 1725, which houses the Dilkhush Mahal, Sheesh Mahal - studded with glittering Belgium Mirrors, Moti Mahal and the Palace of Lord Krishna all of which are ornately decorated. Later visit the Jagdish Temple. This temple built in 1651 is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the preserver in the Hindu Trinity of Gods. Also, visit the Sahelion Ki Bari gardens and fountains. Later drive around the Fateh Sagar Lake. Visit Eklingji and Nagda Temple. Eklingji was built for the tutelary deity of the Maharaja’s of Mewar, of sandstone and marble in 734 A.D. Later visit Nagda, one of the ancient Palaces of Mewar dating back to the 6th century A.D.
Evening enjoys a boat ride on Lake Pichola on which the majestic Lake Palace hotel is situated. See the ghats along the lake and the interesting buildings on the banks. The view of the city palace from the lake is spectacular. Lake Pichola is an artificial freshwater lake, created in the year 1362 AD, named after the nearby Picholi village. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Drive Udaipur – Ranakpur – Jodhpur (265kms/ 5hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel, drive to Jodhpur, en-route visit Ranakpur Jain Temple, superbly preserved in a near-perfect condition for over 500 years. The Ranakpur Jain Temple was built during the reign of the liberal and gifted monarch Rana Kumbha in the 15th century AD. Continue to drive to Jodhpur check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 9: Full day sightseeing in Jodhpur
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit Mehrangarh Fort; from the outside its wide, high walls and sheer cliffs appear unassailable, imposing and austere, but once inside you discover several lavishly decorated palaces, with intricate carved ‘jalis’ and panels that take your breath away. Later move ahead to Jaswant Thada; a few meters below the fort is the site of the white marble royal cenotaph of Jaswant Singh II and four of his successors. The Maha Mandir, dedicated to Lord Shiva is an architectural wonder, built-in 1812, with 84 intricately carved pillars. As it was outside the city walls it was given its own protective fortifications, a sign of those turbulent times. Umaid Bhawan Palace was built during the 1920s and '30s as a famine relief project when Maharaja Umaid Singh started food for work programs. The palace took 16 years to complete- no wonder, then that with its 347 rooms, it is one of the largest private residences in the world. It houses a fine collection of royal memorabilia, armors, and arms, bejeweled howdahs, palanquins, etc.
Excursion to Mandore, the former capital of Mewar. This tiny town has rocky caves and cenotaphs of the Rathore rulers which are the main attractions here. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 10: Drive Jodhpur – Jaisalmer (265kms/ 5hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel drive to Jaisalmer. A fairy-tale town in the Thar Desert founded about 800 years ago by Raja Jaisal. Unlike any other city, this desert fortress is one of Rajasthan's most exotic and unusual towns. Jaisalmer, an important ancient trading center because of its strategic location on the camel trade routes, is often described as the 'golden city'. The Havelis, built by merchants of the 19th century, are exquisitely carved from golden-yellow sandstone and are still in a beautiful condition. Jaisalmer is also famous for its embroidery, Rajasthani mirror work, rugs, blankets, antique and stonework, and the sand dune desert camel safaris. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 11: Full day sightseeing Jaisalmer
Breakfast at a hotel visit, Jaisalmer Fort towering high above the sprawling city of Jaisalmer has an exciting, almost fairytale quality to it. The fort is often spoken of as a ‘living museum’ because of its many ‘Havelis’ – the mansions of the rich merchants built in the 19th century. The residential area of the fort takes visitors back in time with beautiful ‘Havelis’ with breathtakingly exquisite intricately latticed golden-yellow sandstone facades. The most famous homes are Nathmalji ki Haveli, whose interiors are extensively decorated with splendid miniature paintings, Salim Singh ki Haveli capped with blue cupolas and superb peacock shaped brackets, and the Patwon ki Haveli the five-storied and is the largest and most elaborate of all with multiple carved pillars and colonnades, wall murals, long corridors, and ornate chambers. Also visit Gadsisar Lake, further free to stroll around the local bazaars.
Later in the evening, a short drive to Sand Dunes, explore the desert on a camel and enjoy watching the sunset. Camel Safari, The ship of the desert, the camel, was domesticated thousands of years ago primarily for the purpose of making tedious journeys through the unrelenting Thar Desert. You can also see the patterns and motifs created by the shifting sands and air. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 12: Drive Jaisalmer – Bikaner (330kms/ 6hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel, drive to Bikaner, check-in at the hotel. Later city tour Bikaner. Visit Junagarh Fort; this fort was built in the 15th century by one of the ablest and trusted generals of Akbar, Raja Rai Singh. It has a 96 mt long wall, with 37 bastions and 2 entrances. Lalgadh Palace: designed by a Britisher for Maharaja Ganga Singh, this palace displays a magnificent blend of oriental and European style. The imposing red sandstone monument is designed by Sir Swinton Jacob for Maharaja Ganga Singh. The Palace has beautiful latticework and filigree work, Sprawling lawns with blooming bougainvillea and dancing peacocks make it a not-to-be-missed visual treat. Part of the Palace has been converted into a luxury hotel and a museum known as Shri Sadul Museum. The museum covers the entire first floor of the palace and houses well preserved old photographs and trophies of wildlife.
Day 13: Drive Bikaner – Deshnok - Mandawa (200kms/ 4hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel drives to Mandawa via visiting Karni Mata rat temple at Deshnok. Rat Temple, Karni Mata Temple Deshnoke lying at the distance of 30km from Bikaner. Visit the 600 years ancient shrine of Goddess Karni. You will be astonished to see that besides the Goddess the other deity of the temple are rats. The people have a strong notion that these rodents will be reincarnated as divine-human.
Upon arrival check-in hotel in Mandawa. Later do sightseeing of Mandawa forts and Havelis. Mandawa Fort; The fort of Mandawa was founded in the 18th century. Havelis; This town has been referred to as the "open art gallery" of Rajasthan because the entire Shekhawati region and not just Mandawa is dotted with fascinating mansions (Havelis) that have lavishly painted walls. Overnight at the hotel.
Day 14: Drive Mandawa – Delhi (250kms/ 5hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel drive to Delhi direct drop off to the airport to board flight for onward destination
