Day 1: Negombo
Upon arrival at Colombo airport, you will be moved ahead to your pre-booked hotel.
Warm welcome, visit beautiful city Negombo located on the west coast of Sri Lanka, north of the capital, Colombo. Near the waterfront, the remains of the 17th century Dutch Fort now house a prison. Day free at leisure/ or explore the Negombo town on own. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Drive Negombo – Kandy
After Breakfast, embark your drive to Kandy. En-route to your destination, you can visit one of the most important tourist attractions in Sri Lanka, the Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage. Volunteers and caretakers provide shelter and take care of orphaned, abandoned and injured elephants within the park. You can watch caretakers feed, bathe and help these gentle giants. You won't walk with the herd to the nearby river to watch the elephants bathe and play around in the water. Arrive Kandy and check in the hotel. In the evening you will witness a traditional cultural dance show. Overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 3: Drive Kandy – Bentota
Today spoil yourself with a savory breakfast at your hotel and continue your drive to the land of turquoise waters and golden beaches – Bentota. Bentota is a resort town on Sri Lanka’s southwest coast. Its long Bentota Beach stretches north, where it becomes a sandy strip known as Paradise Island, parallel to Bentota Lagoon. On Bentota River, centuries-old Galapota Temple has a large Buddha statue. Southeast is Lunuganga, the estate, and gardens of architect Geoffrey Bawa. On your return to Bentota enjoy a quiet dinner and retire to your hotel. Overnight stay in Bentota.
Day 4: Bentota
Breakfast at Hotel.The day at leisure. The guests will be able to do water sports or take a boat safari in Bentota at their own cost. Overnight stay in Bentota
Day 5: Drive Bentota – Colombo
After Breakfast drive to Colombo. Shopping and sightseeing in Colombo. Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, has a long history as a port on ancient east-west trade routes, ruled successively by the Portuguese, Dutch and British. Visit Colombo National Museum, dedicated to Sri Lankan history, borders sprawling Viharamaha Devi Park and its giant Buddha. In the evening check-in at hotel and overnight.
Day 6: Departure transfer
Today morning after breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport to catch a flight for the home country.
