About the Tour
Ghandruk Trek is popular among those trekkers who love soft and few days walking. It is short trekking in Nepal. Ghandruk trekking offers an excellent view of Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre, and Himalchuli. Walking through rhododendron forests is also another exciting experience of this trekking. The Ghandruk trail guarantees you fun, pleasure and a magnificent insight of the natural panorama of the beautiful Himalayan country, Nepal. Friendly Gurung people and their hospitality is the main highlight of this trek. The trail follows the main street winding through the bamboo forests and past eye-catching waterfalls with plunge pools inviting you for a refreshing swim.

Day 1: Arrive Kathmandu
Arrive at the airport in Kathmandu and our executive will drive you to the hotel. Check into the hotel and relax for the day. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Explore Kathmandu in the morning where you will be taken to Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and a few more attractions around and even witness Bhaktapur. Overnight stay at Kathmandu.
Day 3 Kathmandu - Pokhara (1150m)
Drive from Kathmandu to the trek start point in Pokhara with your guide. Walking along the ridgeline in the lower foothills of the Annapurna ranges will take you to the Modi River Valley, where your tonight’s lodge is situated. The unclimbed Machapuchare (Fishtail Mountain) will be seen from the lodge. You can choose to walk to the village of Birethanti after lunch or explore the surrounding river valley by yourself.
Note: There is a private trekking guide who will accompany you all the way.

Day 4 Pokhara - Ghandruk (2012m)
After breakfast, leave the lodge for Ghandruk. Climb out of the Modi River Valley soon and up towards the mountains. Trekking along the trails, you will come across some small hamlets, terraced fields and forests. A hot lunch is served upon your arrival at the lodge in the early afternoon. Magnificent views of the surrounding mountains appear at a close distance.

Day 5 Ghandruk (2012m)
Today is relatively easy for further discovery in Ghandruk. Breakfast is served,including tea and coffee. You will watch the sunrise over Annapurna South, Annapurna Ⅰ, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna and the Fishtail Mountain. Ghandruk is the second biggest village in the Annapurna region, and it was once a major recruitment center for the famous Gurkha soldiers. Follow your guide to explore the village and its surrounding countryside.

Day 6 Ghandruk - Landrung (1565m, 4 Hrs Walk)
Enjoy a relaxing breakfast, and then trek to Landrung (Landruk). On the way, descend to the banks of Modi River, where you will see Nepali honey hunters climbing and collecting honey on the cliffs. Cross a strong suspension bridge to the opposite bank, and then continue 1-hour trekking to the village of Landrung. You will arrive at lunchtime. After lunch, your guide will lead you to explore this interesting village, which offers more superb views of the Annapurna ranges.

Day 7:Landrung - Majgaon (1400m, 4 Hrs Walk)
This morning, you will leave Landrung (Landruk) for Majgaon. The trek follows the contours of the hill, passing through villages and farmlands and winding up and down the terrain, giving you the best perspectives of the scenery here. Get to the lodge at Majgaon for lunch. The afternoon is free for your exploration. You could do some easy hike to the surrounding villages. Overnight: Simple lodge/tea house.
Day 8 Majgaon - Dhampus (1525m, 4 Hrs Walk)
You will first pass through the unspoiled village of Patlekhet. Subtropical forests that include tree orchids, rhododendrons and magnolias will be along your journey. Make a stopover at the village of Pothana, where many Tibetan traders live and sell souvenirs. Reach the lodge at the old village of Dhampus. After lunch, an optional walk around the village will be up to your decision. Overnight: Simple lodge/tea house
Day 9 Dhampus - Pokhara (1000m)
The last trekking day comes. You will depart after an early breakfast and descend to the valley floor. After trekking for 1 hour, you will be transferred to Pokhara by vehicle for about 30 minutes. En route, you can ask for a stopover at any Tibetan refugee camp if you have an interest in exploring the temple complex. After arriving in Pokhara, enjoy the remaining day on your own.
Day 10:Drive Pokhara – Kathmandu
Today check-out from the hotel and straight drive back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival check-in, hotel and rest dat free at leisure or to explore local shopping markets. Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 11: Departure Transfer
Today, you will be transferred to Kathmandu airport to board a flight for the home country.
