About the Tour

This tour programme starts in Mumbai, a city of dreams. Mumbai's nature as the most eclectic and cosmopolitan Indian city is symbolized in the presence of Bollywood within the city, the centre of the globally-influential Hindi film and TV industries. The tour further takes you to Rajasthan, land of desert forts and palaces, of warriors and chivalry and of colourful costumes, then to Agra, a city home to the monument of love, the iconic Taj Mahal, and the colossal Red Fort, among others; and culminates at national capital Delhi, a city that boasts of a living history and heritage of close to three millennia. Delhi’s forts and palaces, tombs and countless monuments not only speaks of the many kingdoms and empires that it has served.

Day 1:    Arrive Mumbai
Upon your arrival at Mumbai International airport, you will be met by our office airport representative. After a warm welcome at the airport, you will be driven to your pre-booked hotel .. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2:    Full day sightseeing in Mumbai
Today, in the morning, proceed towards the Elephanta Caves and city tour on your own. Early morning, you will be transferred to the Gateway of India.Move towards Elephanta Caves, located on an island about 10 kilometers away from the shores of Mumbai.  Visit the Gateway of India,pass through monuments built during the British era , Mumbai University, Rajabai Clock Tower, High Court and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (VT).

Next  the famous places like Visit Fashion Street, , Marine Drive Malabar Hill ,Jain Temple, Kamala Nehru Park, ,the Hanging Garden.

Day 3:    Flight Mumbai – Udaipur
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport to board flight for Udaipur. On arrival meet with our office representative, Assistance & transfer to the hotel. Evening sunset boat cruise on Lake Pichola.
Lake Pichola; A manmade lake is one of the prime attractions of Udaipur. The lake is known for the palace build amidst the lake. The lake was built by Maharana Udai Singh II. It was made basically for defense purposes. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 4:    Day sightseeing in Udaipur
Breakfast at hotel, start your day with City Palace; which was built in 1725, which houses the Dilkhush Mahal, Sheesh Mahal - studded with glittering Belgium Mirrors, Moti Mahal and the Palace of Lord Krishna all of which are ornately decorated. Later visit Jagdish Temple; This temple built-in 1651 is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, the preserver in the Hindu Trinity of Gods. Also, visit the Sahelion Ki Bari garden and fountains. 

Later drive around the Fateh Sagar Lake and visit Eklinji, was built for the tutelary deity of the Maharanas of Mewar, of sandstone and marble in 734 A.D. It’s 108 temples are enclosed by high walls and has a pyramidical roof composed of hundreds of knobs. Later visit Nagda Temple, one of the ancient Palaces of Mewar dating back to the 6th century A.D. The Sas-Bahu Temple is among the most exquisitely carved temples. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5:    Drive Udaipur – Jodhpur (290kms / 5hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel, drive to Jodhpur and en-route visit the stunning Jain Temple at Ranakpur, superbly preserved in a near-perfect condition for over 500 years. The Ranakpur Jain Temple was built during the reign of the liberal and gifted monarch Rana Kumbha in the 15th century AD. In the assembly hall, there are two big bells weighing 108kgs whose sound echoes in the entire complex. Continue to drive to Jodhpur, on arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6:    Full day sightseeing in Jodhpur
After breakfast at the hotel, start day sightseeing with the first stop at the Mehrangarh Fort, an important historical landmark and a popular Jodhpur attraction. You will find numerous beautiful palaces, galleries, ancient temples, and a museum inside the complex. Later visit Jaswant Thada, a 19th-century royal cenotaph. In addition to the monument, it also features spectacular gardens. Finally, visit another popular landmark in Jodhpur - Umaid Bhawan Palace. The elegant palace was built during the 20th century in order to provide employment for 3,000 famine stricken residents of Jodhpur. It has recently been transformed into a 5-star heritage palace hotel. After the tour, you will be dropped at your hotel.

Day 7:    Drive Jodhpur – Pushkar (185kms/ 4hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel, then drive to Pushkar – upon arrival check-in at the hotel.
Afternoon visit Dargah of Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti, located at the end of a dusty alley in the main market, makes Ajmer an important pilgrim center for Muslims from all parts of the world. Then visit Brahma Temple, this is the only temple in the world where Lord Brahma is worshiped and the main attraction of Pushkar. The temple has a special position in Hindu pantheons. There is the life-size four-armed idol of Lord Brahma - the creator in the vestibule. Pushkar Lake: According to the legends, the lake was dedicated to Lord Brahma after a lotus fell from his hands and dropped into this picturesque valley. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 8:    Drive Pushkar – Jaipur (185kms/ 4hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel, drive to Jaipur. Upon arrival check-in hotel and afternoon proceed for the Amber Fort, Raja Man Singh the Rajput commander of Akbar’s army constructed the fortress-palace at the end of the 16th century. Amber is a superb example of Rajput architecture, situated on a hilltop, overlooking a lake. Casting its surreal reflection in the Maota Lake, the Amer Fort is an architectural wonder. The fort is also counted as the most excellent example of Indo-Islamic architecture.

Then move ahead to the City Palace, with amazing cultural value and architectural excellence. It is adorned with a number of gardens, edifices, and courtyards within the complex of the palace which makes it worth visiting. The next stopover will be at the Jantar Mantar, also known as the Royal Observatory, Jantar Mantar has a collection of astronomical instruments that are meticulously designed to measure the harmony of the heavens.

Later on, visit Hawa Mahal It was constructed in 1799 by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh to enable ladies of the royal household to watch the life and processions of the city. The top offers stunning views over Jantar Mantar and the City Palace in one direction and over Sireh Deori Bazaar in the other. Later, drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 9:    Drive Jaipur – Abhaneri – Fatehpur Sikri – Agra     (245kms / 5hrs Approx)
Breakfast at the hotel, embark on your drive to Jaipur.  On the way, halt at Abhaneri; this ancient village in Rajasthan is renowned for its post-Gupta or early medieval monuments, Chand Baori and Harshat Mata temple. Though the village is in ruins now, tourists throng the village to see Chand Baori which is a huge stepwell, a unique idea conceived by the natives to work as a water reservoir. Another attraction is the Harshat Mata temple, an architectural jewel on the tourism map of Rajasthan. While Harshat Mata temple symbolizes the 10th-century architecture, Chand Baori, which is fortified on all sides, is one of the largest step wells in India.

En-route, also visit Fatehpur Sikri, built by Emperor Akbar in 1569 and abandoned after 15 yrs due to scarcity of water. Predominately, a red sandstone construction sprawling over a huge area, the architectural style is very much in tune with the emperor’s dream & partakes of both Hindu & Muslim styles. See the graceful buildings including Jama Masjid, Jodha Bai Palace, Birbal Bhawan, Panch Mahal, and the Buland Darwaza. Each site endures the great creativity and historical significance of the Mughal Dynasty. Continue to drive to Agra, on arrival check-in at the hotel. Overnight stay at Agra.

Day 10:   Agra – Delhi (204kms/ 4hrs approx)
Early morning, visit the Taj Mahal during sunrise a symbol of love. It was built by Shah Jahan in 1631 AD and was completed in 1651. This symbol of love was built in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love. Then, drive back to the hotel for breakfast and freshen-up.

Afternoon visit Agra Fort, it was built by the famed Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565 AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone. Construction of the massive red sandstone Agra Fort on the bank of the Yamuna River was begun by Emperor Akbar in 1565, though additions were made up until the rule of his grandson, Shah Jahan region it has partially become Palace. Later move the head  to Itmad-ud-daulah's Tomb, was built between 1622 and 1628 by Empress Nur Jahan for her father, boasts of marble trelliswork and inlaid with precious stones, this mausoleum on the opposite bank of the Yamuna from the Taj, exhibits a strong Persian influence. After lunch, you will drive back to Delhi. Upon arrival check-in, hotel and explore city (own). Overnight stay at the hotel.    

Day 11:   Full day sightseeing in Delhi
Today morning after breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to start your excursion with Qutub Minar, it’s named after Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the first Sultan of the Mamluk Dynasty, This is the victory tower of Mughal, which indicated the beginning of Muslim rule in India. This 72.5 meters high tower truly reflects the brilliance of ancient Indian architects. Later on, drive to Humayun's Tomb, One of the inspirational architecture of its time, the design and layout have inspired many similar structures. Built-in the memory of Humayun, by his Persian widow, Haji Begum, it was the first architectural construction built during Akbar's reign. 

Then drive to visit India Gate, it was built to commemorate the death of India soldiers, who were killed in the North West Province during the First World War and the Afghan Conquest of 1919. Later visit President House, The official residence of the President of India. Drive pass Parliament Street and move to Connaught Place for Lunch. From here you will head to Jama Masjid, it was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656, Jama Masjid is one of the biggest Mosques in India. Finally, you are back in your hotel to rest for the night.

Day 12:   Departure transfer 
Breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport to board flight for your home country.
