About the Tour

On the banks of the river Yamuna, is situated the birthplace of Lord Krishna. The entire land is dotted with magnificent temples, dedicated to various aspects of his life. The twin cities of Mathura and Vrindavan, where he was born and where he grew up, still resound to the sound of his laughter, antics and his magical flute. Apart from this Agra would be a trip to the enchanting Taj Mahal and several other Mughal structures.

Day 1:    Arrive Delhi
Upon your arrival at Delhi International airport, you will be met by our office airport representative. After a warm welcome at airport, you will be driven to your pre-booked hotel and our representative will assist you in check-in formalities. Get some rest or explore the city by walk. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2:    Full day sightseeing in Delhi
Today morning after breakfast at the hotel, you will drive to start your excursion with Qutub Minar, it’s named after Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the first Sultan of the Mamluk Dynasty, This is the victory tower of Mughal, which indicated the beginning of Muslim rule in India. This 72.5 meters high tower truly reflects the brilliance of ancient Indian architects. Later on, drive to Humayun's Tomb, One of the inspirational architecture of its time, the design and layout have inspired many similar structures. Built-in the memory of Humayun, by his Persian widow, Haji Begum, it was the first architectural construction built during Akbar's reign. 

Then drive to visit India Gate, it was built to commemorate the death of India soldiers, who were killed in the North West Province during the First World War and the Afghan Conquest of 1919. Later visit President House, The official residence of the President of India. Drive pass Parliament Street and move to Connaught Place for Lunch. From here you will head to Jama Masjid, it was built by the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan between 1650 and 1656, Jama Masjid is one of the biggest Mosques in India. Drive pass Red Fort and move the head towards Laxmi Narayan Temple located in the heart of Delhi, also known as the Birla Mandir, this beautifully decorated Hindu temple is dedicated to Lord Vishnu and his consort Lakshmi. Then drive to Lotus Temple, a lotus-shaped outline has etched itself on the consciousness of the city's inhabitants, capturing their imagination, fueling their curiosity, and revolutionizing the concept of worship. Evening drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3:    Drive Delhi – Mathura / Vrindavan (145kms/ 3hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel, drive to Mathura/ Vrindavan check-in at the hotel.
Mathura & Vrindavan; the most ancient of Hindu cities overflow with devotees who come to pay obeisance to Lord Krishna’s birthplace. In this hot and dusty town, pilgrims jostle with priests; incense mingles with smells of sweat and grime; crowds fill the narrow streets and shops spill onto the pavement. 

Visit, The International Society for Shri Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) is one of the most beautiful temples in Vrindavan today. The Madan Mohan Temple located near the Kali Ghat which was built by Kapur Ram Das of Multan. This is the oldest existing temple in Vrindavan today. The Shahji Temple, another popular temple at Vrindavan, was designed and built-in 1876 by a wealthy jeweler, Shah Kundan Lal of Lucknow. The deities at the temple are popularly known as the Chhote Radha Raman. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 4:     Drive Vrindavan – Govardhan – Gokul – Nand Gaon – Barsana
Breakfast at hotel, full day for Govardhan Hill Parikrama of about fourteen miles (23 km.) and can take five to six hours to complete if one walks at a brisk pace. People from all over India visit Vraja in order to perform Govardhana Parikrama.  Afternoon visits the Gokul, Nand Gaon, and Barsana Village. Overnight at the hotel. 

Day 5:     Drive Mathura/ Vrindavan – Agra (55kms/ 1hrs approx)
After Breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to the historical and romantic city - Agra. Upon arrival check-in hotel and freshen-up. Later visit Taj Mahal, was built by Shah Jahan in 1631 AD and was completed in 1651. This symbol of love was built in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. Described as the most extravagant monument ever built for love. And, then drive to Agra Fort, was built by the famed Mughal Emperor Akbar in 1565AD, the fort is predominantly of red sandstone. Construction of the massive red sandstone Agra Fort on the bank of the Yamuna River was begun by Emperor Akbar in 1565, though additions were made up until the rule of his grandson, Shah Jahan region it has partially become Palace. 

After lunch moves ahead to Itmad-ud-daulah's Tomb, was built between 1622 and 1628 by Empress Nur Jahan for her father, boasts of marble trelliswork and inlaid with precious stones, this mausoleum on the opposite bank of the Yamuna from the Taj, exhibits a strong Persian influence. Evening drive back to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 6:     Drive Agra – Delhi (204kms/ 4hrs approx)
Breakfast at hotel, drive to Delhi direct transfer to airport to board flight for your onward destination.
