About the Tour

Visit the Annapurna region, one of the most geographically and culturally diverse regions in Nepal, during this 15-day guided trip. Drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar and start your trek from there. Travel past the villages of Bulbule, Chamje, and Chame to reach Manang, where you will stay for a day to acclimatize yourself. Cross the mighty Thorong La Pass (5416m), the highest navigable pass in the world, and descend to Jomsom (2750m) via Kagbeni. Enjoy amazing mountain views from Poon Hill before driving to Kathmandu. Cross innumerable rivers and streams. See stunning waterfalls and gurgling hot springs as well as the deepest gorge in the world, the Kali Gandaki Gorge, during this trip. Day 1:    Arrival Kathmandu    
Welcome to Nepal. Our representative will wait for you at Kathmandu airport exit. Enjoy a private transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is your free time. You can choose to have a stroll around Kathmandu Durbar Square, visit some heritage sites, or just stay at your hotel. Overnight: Kathmandu


Day 2:    Kathmandu - Besisahar (820m)   
This morning, your private trekking guide will meet you at your hotel lobby, who will accompany you all the way. You will drive to Besisahar with all the trekking equipment well prepared. After 6 hours’ drive, you will reach Besisahar, the district headquarters of Lamjung District. Overnight: Simple lodge/tea house 


Day 3:    Besisahar - Syange (1250m, 6 Hrs Walk)   
Pack up and get ready for an immersive outdoor experience with your experienced private guide. Start your trek from Besisahar. Walk along the trail from Ngadi ascending to the village of Lili Gaon. Continue moving ahead to the Marsyangdi Valley, forming a steep V shape. Follow the winding mountain path down to Syange for overnight. Overnight: Simple lodge/tea house. 

Day 4:     Syange - Tal (1740m, 6 Hrs Walk)   
Trace the trail to the stone village of Jagat, which is located on a shelf jutting into the Marsyangdi Valley. Following the trekking route, you will encounter a waterfall at Chamje that hangs on the opposite bank of the river. After crossing a suspension bridge, begin to climb up to Sattare. When you reach the top of the hill, you will overlook the plain of Tal. Head to Tal for overnight. Overnight: Simple lodge/tea house 

Day 5:     Tal - Bagarchap (2100m, 6 Hrs Walk)   
Depart from Tal and zigzag your way across a narrow valley. Enjoy the view of rural villages such as Karte, Dharapani, and Dudh Khola starting from the south face of Manaslu. Continue walking to Marsyangdi, where Annapurna II comes into view. Move on and reach Bagarchhap for overnight. Overnight: Simple lodge/tea house 

Day 6:   Bagarchap - Chame (2730m, 7 Hrs Walk)   
A thundering waterfall will come into your sight after passing through Dhanakyu. Take a break against the splendid backdrop of Manaslu. After that, enter the pristine hamlet of Kotho, from where you can capture the most enchanting view of Annapurna II. Trekking further, you will arrive at Chame, the headquarters of Manang District. There are relatively better-equipped living facilities, and you also get to experience a local hot spring there. Nothing compares this moment! Overnight: Simple lodge/tea house 

Day 7:   Chame - Pisang (3190m, 6 Hrs Walk)   
Soak up the view of the Lamjung Himal (6893m) in the morning before leaving for Pisang. When crossing a large suspension bridge, you will see the forested village of Bratang containing a stone memorial to a Japanese climber. After walking past the village, the Annapurna range rears up. Going forward, you will get a view of Paungda Danda rock rising over 1500m from the river valley. On the way to the village of Pisang, you will capture the spectacular views of Annapurna II and the Pisang Peak. Overnight: Simple lodge/tea house.

Day 8:   Pisang - Manang (3450m, 4 Hrs Walk)   
As you trek further away from Pisang, the more beautiful views of the Manang Valley will be presented in front of your eyes. Follow the route to Sabje Khola Valley, you will see the majestic Annapurna IV (7525m). Cross a wooden bridge, pass by the Marsyangdi Khola, enter the village of Mungji, arrive at the village of Bryaga, and you will reach Manang after a further walking. Here, enjoy the amazing views of the Annapurna range including Annapurna II, Annapurna III, Annapurna IV, Gangapurna (7455m) and Tilicho Peak (7134m). Overnight: Simple lodge/tea house 

Day 9:   Manang (3450m, 3 Hrs Walk)   
This is an acclimatization day at Manang village. Spend the day with a light stroll around the village to see panoramic Annapurna ranges and the Manang Valley. A short visit to Himalayan Rescue Association Aid Post may add more pleasure to this day. Overnight: Simple lodge/tea house 

Day 10:    Manang - Yak Kharka (4200m, 3 Hrs Walk)   
Depart for Yak Kharka with your experienced guide. En route, you will pass the high arid desert to high camp at Phedi, which is at the base of Thorong La. Overnight: Simple lodge/tea house

Day 11:    Yak Kharka - Thorung Phedi (4480m, 2-3 Hrs Walk)   
Leave Yak Kharka. Descend to the headwaters of the Marshyangdi. Later, follow a narrow trail and descend a steep slope before reaching Thorung Phedi. Overnight: Simple lodge/tea house 

Day 12:    Thorung Phedi - Muktinath (3730m, 8 Hrs Walk)   
Start early to cross Thorung La, a mountain pass with an elevation of 5416m. After about 4 hours’ steady climb, you will reach the chorten and prayer flags of the pass, where Kali Gandaki Gorge comes into your sight. During descending to Muktinath, the beautiful view of Dhaulagiri and JhongKhola Valley will be along with you. Overnight: Simple lodge/tea house 

Day 13:    Muktinath - Jomsom (2700m, 4-5 Hrs Walk)   
Walk down along a level but the rocky trail through thickets of juniper to Jomsom. You will pass by Jharkot and Kagbeni on the way. Overnight: Simple lodge/tea house 

Day 14:    Jomsom - Pokhara   
After breakfast, walk to Jomsom airport with your trekking guide and take the flight to Pokhara. Jomsom airport is in the mountain region and the flights from Jomsom are completely depends on weather condition. Therefore, to avoid any delay, it is suggested you stay in Pokhara for one night and fly back to Kathmandu for your international flight home the next day. Besides, you can enjoy a relaxing time after the trek in Pokhara the paradise of leisure. Overnight: Kathmandu 

Day 15:    Pokhara - Kathmandu, Departure   
Today, our representative will come to pick you up and transfer you to Pokhara airport for a flight to Kathmandu, where you will connect the international flight back home.

Inclusions

  • Accommodation during the trek (in lodges and guesthouses) and Hotel in Kathmandu and Pokhara. 
  • Three meals a day during the trek (breakfast, lunch, and dinner)  
  • All transfers and excursions will be covered by air-conditioned vehicle. 
  • Shared jeep or bus from Jomsom to Tatopani 
  • All accommodation during the trek (in lodges and guesthouses) as well as one night's stay in a hotel in Pokhara 
  • All necessary trekking permits as well as government taxes and official expenses 
  • A first aid kit and an oximeter.
  • A highly experienced, English-speaking trekking guide 
  • Currently applicable taxes.

  • Nepal entry visa fees (USD40 for 30 days) 
  • Airfare / Train fare
  • Camera charges at any monument to be paid by the guest directly
  • All alcoholic and non-alcoholic hot and cold drinks 
  • Any insurance
  • Tips for the guide, and porter (if you have added a porter to help you carry your backpack) 
  • Expenses of personal nature like liquor, laundry, tips, telephone, fax, internet, etc.
  • And anything not mentioned in Inclusions.
